Bergg — Support

We answer within one business day.

Bergg is built by a small team. There is no phone queue and no chat bot — every email is read by a human who works on the app.

Before you write

Most questions are already answered in the app:

• Open Bergg → Settings → Help & FAQ.
• Subscription, billing, and refund questions are handled by Apple — open the iOS Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Bergg.

What to include in your email

So we can help on the first reply, please paste:

• Your account email (the one you signed up with).
• iPhone model + iOS version (Settings → General → About).
• Bergg version (Settings → bottom of screen — e.g. 1.0.0 (3)).
• What you did, what you expected, what happened. A screenshot helps a lot.

Common issues

Can't log in

Double-check the email on the login screen — it's case-sensitive on some keyboards. If you forgot the password, tap Forgot password? and we'll email a reset link. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, email us and we'll reset it manually.

Voice note didn't transcribe

Recording needs an internet connection — Bergg streams the audio to OpenAI Whisper. Check your signal, then try again. Recordings are limited to about 2 minutes; for longer thoughts, record several shorter notes.

Subscription / refund

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us. Manage or cancel any subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Bergg. Refunds are also handled by Apple — visit reportaproblem.apple.com and pick the relevant purchase. We don't have the ability to issue refunds directly.

Delete my account

In the app: Settings → Account Actions → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate — there is no recovery window.

Privacy questions

See the full Privacy Policy. Short version: audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription and immediately discarded; transcripts and the documents Bergg generates are stored in your account so you can re-open them later.
